SUMMER GAMES

Last Week we headed down South to have Missy participate in the Summer Games with her Soccer Team! Its been a crazy few weeks, with the 3x3 tournament which they walked away with one gold in the 10 yr old division and took the silver in the 11 yr old! Missy has been playing AWESOME and we are very proud of her, she is a very aggressive "little bit" as her coach refers to her, she can out run all of them on the field... One of the funnies that she did was she was guarding quite a larger girl then her and all of a sudden we heard her yelling something at the girl well come to find out I guess she wanted to distract her so she could attack and she was yelling " Do you want some Chocolate??" her idea of distracting the player and assisting in making a goal, and YES it worked.... Her team didn't do as well in the Summer Games, we took 3rd in our pool, but it wasent good enough to move on to compete against the other pool! WE spent alot of time in the Pool, and just relaxing at the hotel... Her and Sammie became even more at the "HIPS and it will be hard to not have sammie on our team next year... I think the highlight was the opening ceremonies, when she walked with her team and we had a awesome firework show... Missy has also been playing Lacrosse this year with her same team from last year, its still something she loves to do, but I think SOCCER will still be #1! She has been moved up to the Triple A so she will have to still have that aggressive heart and do her BEST!! She went and got fitted last night for her new uniform, and when they asked her what number?? She chose 24 we were like what?? And she said I want to be like my "DAD"!! Troy came home with a BIG SMILE ....
