New Years Eve

We had a great New Year, it was a little crazy but when we finally arrived it was very ENJOYED... Troy spent the day taking the kids skiing/snowboarding, the M&M loved it... Missy is skiing and Mac is snowboarding... Austin had chosen to go snowboarding with his friends... and is getting great use out of his ski pass that he got for Christmas... He had picked a very busy day to go and the ski resort was PACKED... he had taken Taylor my nephew up and was going to enjoy his time with him and really hitting the mountains while the kids were in there lessons... I think they all enjoyed but it made a late night of getting home, we were anxious to get going since we had 2 parties to attend and try and jungle both... When there both FAMILY now how do you say NO to one??? so just as we are walking out the door to Searle's the phone rings and Austin is still STUCK up at Sundance with no ride... how parents feel right about standing up there kids and rely on others to take care of there kids is beyond me... so troy had to hurry and make a trip up Provo Canyon, so needless to say we were LATE.... We finally made it and enjoyed the company of the Smiths too. I understand now why Chelsey and Mitch think so much of them... We had yummy scones that Diana made and we visited and played games... the blowers, hats and especially the 2010 glasses were a hit... Before we turned around it was time to ring in the new year and we had missed our family party... we toasted in the New Year and even got some fun shots of all of us... Thanks for a great evening... WE are grateful to have you part of our family, the wedding this year was the highlight of 2009!! To our FAMILY sorry we missed your traditional new years eve party... next year will try and jungle better. But we LOVE YA....Happy New Year!!
